On your first visit to Fit Square you complete an extensive Health Check on the EGYM equipment. In around 10 minutes the system measures four essential aspects of your fitness: strength, body composition, flexibility and cardio. You don't have to prepare anything. The machines guide you step by step through the measurements. Our physiotherapists are there to explain everything. You get a score per muscle group. This gives insight into your endurance and heart health. This helps determine a healthy weight and monitor your body fat and muscle mass. Your Bio-Age is a scientifically grounded 'biological age' — a number indicating how fit your body actually is, regardless of your date of birth. A 55-year-old with a Bio-Age of 48 has a body that functions like that of a 48-year-old. And vice versa: a 30-year-old can have a Bio-Age of 38 if their fitness and strength lag behind. Your Bio-Age is built from four categories: Strength, Flexibility, Body Composition (metabolism) and Cardio. You get a separate age score per category, so you know exactly where your strengths lie and where there's room to grow. After 6 weeks of training you do a new Health Check. You see concretely how your Bio-Age drops — and your body gets younger.
