In 10 minuten weet je precies waar je staat — en waar je naartoe kunt groeien. Jouw startpunt ## Wat meet de Health Check? Bij je eerste bezoek aan Fit Square voer je een uitgebreide Health Check uit op de EGYM apparatuur. In ongeveer 10 minuten meet het systeem vier essentiële aspecten van je fitheid: spierkracht, lichaamssamenstelling, flexibiliteit en conditie. Je hoeft niets voor te bereiden. De machines leiden je stap voor stap door de metingen. Je krijgt een score per spiergroep. ![Conditietest op EGYM apparatuur](/assets/egym-cardio-test-TGgNk5o8.png) ### Conditie Via een cardio-test bepaalt EGYM je cardiovasculaire fitheid. Dit geeft inzicht in je uithoudingsvermogen en hartgezondheid. ![Lichaamssamenstelling meting op EGYM](/assets/egym-bioage-DB6lPafH.webp) ### Lichaamssamenstelling Via metabole metingen krijg je inzicht in je lichaamssamenstelling. Je Bio-Age is een wetenschappelijk onderbouwde 'biologische leeftijd' — een getal dat aangeeft hoe fit je lichaam werkelijk is, ongeacht je geboortedatum. Een 55-jarige met een Bio-Age van 48 heeft een lichaam dat functioneert als dat van iemand van 48. En andersom: een 30-jarige kan een Bio-Age van 38 hebben als conditie en kracht achterblijven. Je Bio-Age is opgebouwd uit vier categorieën: Kracht, Flexibiliteit, Lichaamssamenstelling (metabolisme) en Cardio. Per categorie krijg je een eigen leeftijdsscore, zodat je precies weet waar je sterke punten liggen én waar ruimte is voor verbetering. Na 6 weken trainen doe je een nieuwe Health Check.
